We can precisely measure to within a 2MM tolerance for any shape glass shower enclosure.
The glass making companies, including our glass studio, use special safe and shock-resistant toughened glass with 8-10 mm thickness to produce the bespoke shower enclosures. Such a glass guarantees steadiness, reliability, and safety of the glass structure. By the way, this glass can be not only transparent but also frosted or coloured. Typically, the height of the shower cubicle is about 2 meters. There is a free space between the glass panels and the ceiling due to which steam does not accumulate in the shower cabin.
The number of glass panels may differ. Depending on the shower enclosure design, it is possible to attach these glass panels directly to the wall, the floor, the ceiling or each other. We mount the glass shower door to both the wall and the shower panels. These panels succumb to the load of the whole structure. Therefore, it is important to fix them properly and safely. The door leaf number can also be different. Thus, a standard shower cubicle has one door leaf. However, in some cases, it is possible to install two door leaves.
The most popular frameless shower enclosure option in the world is the one with installation directly on the tiled floor. These shower cubicles do not have a traditional acrylic tray. On the contrary, the shower cabins with a tray are more cumbersome and have more technically old design.
